NOT BEING HAPPY:
The first mental health issue that teens face today is that they are not happy with their lives.
In the present day scenario, can’t really blame them for having this mental health issue. Seriously who is well mentally in these times?
ANXIETY:
The second mental health issue in teens is the rise of anxiety.
Having anxiety, according to psychologists is pretty much normal and a healthy function that helps us in protecting ourselves from future problems or external
threats.https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/books/2019/02/18/under-pressure-lisa-damour-book/2836206002/
SUICIDE:
Another mental health issue faced by teens is the thought of suicide that keeps occurring in their minds.
Since the coming of COVID and its effects, the lives of teens have changed a great deal.
The once lively teens are now more prone to think about dying or committing suicide. An alarming situation for the parents to tackle.
FINANCIAL CONCERNS:
The fourth mental health issue is the concern regarding finances. Since the COVID has greatly struck businesses, the teens have this feeling of not having enough lurking over their heads which is overall affecting their health too.
EATING DISORDERS/DIETS
The fifth mental health issue in teens relates to their diets, their eating habits.
Most teens have taken after the frenzy to become a skeleton, thanks to the wide use of social media and free knowledge of dangerous theories regarding weight sitting around to grasp some attention.
POOR HYGIENE LEVELS:
Yet, another mental issue related to teens consists of hygiene levels.
Not going to school or to places where the grooming element matters, the teens have taken tonight suits and pajamas, throwing away their basic habits of hygiene and getting ready every day.
INTEREST IN STUDIES:
The seventh mental health issue in teens deals with their lost interest in their studies.
Face-to-face classes were a sense of joy for many but many students used to the idea of classroom teachings cannot digest the idea of studying online.
Many excelling students have become a failure in their own eyes which is a great source of depression for them.
SOCIAL ISOLATION:
The eighth mental health issue in teens is the social isolation that they have faced for a long.
Most of the teens have become introverts, unable to communicate with anyone around or even barely speaking with family.
SLEEP PATTERN:
And Lastly, they no longer follow a pattern for sleeping. Most of them remain awake all night and use the tabs for watching programs or either listening to the music of their choice.
Many, many precious hours are going to waste due to these mental health issues.
In the end, I would say it is never late to find the source of each of these mental issues and treat them accordingly. The help of a psychiatrist/child counselor in a rightful manner can save many lives from going to waste.
Think about it. Until next time, stay safe and healthy.

[…] In the end, I would like to add that a new study has found that fitness consciousness is the number one fear of teens. It is more than twice as common as anxiety, PTSD, and depression combined. To me as a parent, a teen’s mental health is more important as mental illness is on the rise in this age group, and fitness has been linked to mental health for many reasons.https://www.sabahataamir.com/mental-health-issues-in-teen/ […]
