GRANDPARENTS
Hello Folks!
How is the feeling of being loved and wanted generation after generation? It is a great feeling. Especially for those whose grandparents are alive.
In today’s busy lives, most of us have forgotten even if they exist. Today, I aim to talk about them and the impact Grandparents have in our lives. So let’s start.
Firstly, I could never have been the mother, I am if it wasn’t for them. I owe it to them for what I am today.
Parenting is no easy task. Every generation has its own problems, which the parents need to tackle.
However, if they are around, the pain is lessened to a great extent.
Secondly, the Grandparents act as a bridge between the parents and the new generation.
They pass down the ethics, history, and traditions to the generations to cherish them.
It is a great asset for our generations and they should take pride in it.
Thirdly, the love and affection of Grandparents for their grandchildren is manifold in so many ways.
At times, we as parents complain that we had a more strict course of action to follow as compared to our children.
Fourthly, they have so much to share in terms of experience and skills, even a lifetime looks less to learn from them.
Fifthly, the patience and determination borne by them have no alternative. As parents, children, every one of us should learn something from them be it small or big.
Sixth, grandparents are the real spoilers when it comes to children and we should not mind at all.
All year long, parents discipline their children according to them.
So really there is no harm if children can have their way around in the company of grandparents.
Seventh, children who do not have grandparents should adopt other people’s grandparents and see the miracles themselves.
A Visit to a destitute or a senior care home is always good.
And Lastly, grandparents only need our time and love.
We as children often fail to acknowledge their presence and forget to tell them how much we love them.
It is never too late to make amends. Time is ticking.
I would therefore like to reiterate that grandparents are a blessing in disguise. One needs to cherish them the way one cherishes their own children.
It is never too late to make amends and look for better days to come. Think about it.
Until next time, stay safe and happy.
